Woodside has signed a 15-year LNG supply agreement with China Resources Gas, delivering 0.6 million tonnes annually from 2027. This marks Woodside’s first standalone long-term LNG deal with a Chinese customer and China Resources’ first 15-year LNG procurement agreement. Woodside’s Mark Abbotsford highlighted the growing Asian demand for LNG, while China Resources Gas chairman Yang Ping emphasized Woodside’s expertise and hinted at future collaboration.
