TFG Marine to launch methanol bunker vessel in Singapore next month

TFG Marine is set to commence operations of the Pearl Lavender, a methanol-ready chemical bunker tanker, in Singapore starting April 2025. This 6,500 dwt IMO Type 2 vessel, delivered to Consort Bunkers from China Merchants Jinling Shipyard, is the first of four tankers chartered by TFG Marine. It is equipped to transport methanol, biofuel blends up to B100, and conventional marine fuels, supporting TFG Marine’s commitment to a multi-fuel future and the industry’s transition to low-carbon energy solutions.
