The Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) reported on 21 October 2024 that export orders were US$53.8 billion in September 2024 and increased by 4.6% compared with the same month in 2023. Chemicals decreased by 8.5% on a year-on-year basis and stood at US$ 1.37 billion in September 2024.
