Taiwan Expo 2024 India displayed Taiwan’s petrochemical solutions

The flagship platform for Taiwan-India economic and cultural exchanges, the Taiwan Expo in India 2024, returned to New Delhi in July. Cynthia Kiang, Director General of the International Trade Administration (TITA) pointed out that India is currently the world’s second-largest manufacturer of footwear and textiles.

This year, TITA introduced an innovative approach of “Cross-Industry Alliances,” integrating petrochemical, machinery, and textile industries for joint marketing promotion. At this Expo, the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Textile Federation established the “Smart Manufacturing Pavilion” and the ” Sustainable & Innovation Textile Pavilion,” showcasing Taiwan’s intelligent and efficient solutions in petrochemical, shoemaking, and textile processes to demonstrate Taiwan’s industrial energy and capture vast business opportunities in India.
