
The Net Zero City Expo and Net Zero City Leaders Summit opened in Taipei on March 18, focusing on digital and green transition. Deputy NDC head Kao Shien-quey emphasized Taiwan’s commitment to net-zero solutions, with a national policy pavilion highlighting carbon reduction goals for 2030 and 2035.
The event includes 12 local governments showcasing AI-powered low-carbon initiatives and 550 businesses representing the private sector’s role in the transition. Executive Yuan Secretary-General Kung Ming-hsin highlighted Taiwan’s industrial evolution and reaffirmed its net-zero commitment under President Lai Ching-te.
Held from March 18-21 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center’s Hall 2, the event features delegates from 59 countries, 138 cities, and over 2,800 international guests.
