Stolt-Nielsen reports strong Q1 2025 unaudited results

Stolt-Nielsen reported a net profit of $151.4 million for the first quarter of 2025 on revenue of $675.6 million, compared to a profit of $104.0 million on $707.3 million in the same period of 2024. Excluding one-off gains of $75.2 million from equity investments in Avenir LNG and Hassel Shipping 4, net profit stood at $76.2 million. Earnings per share rose to $2.83, or $1.42 excluding the gains, up from $1.94 last year. Consolidated EBITDA declined to $192.0 million from $210.3 million. Stolt Tankers’ operating profit fell to $66.6 million, while time-charter equivalent revenue also declined. Stolthaven Terminals delivered stable results, and Stolt Tank Containers saw improved performance.
