
At the recent APPEC, major LNG Buyers have shown concerns about sourcing LNG from the United States as earlier this year U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration announced a pause on pending and future permits to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) to non-Free Trade Agreement countries.
Jane Liao, vice president of CPC, showed her preference for traditional LNG suppliers over U.S. suppliers, since traditional LNG suppliers are reliable and are more likely to negotiate and find solutions when problems arise.
