Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has signed a corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) with Taiwanese telecom firm Far EasTone for its 500-MW Fengmiao 1 offshore wind project. The wind farm, located 35 km off Taichung City, will feature 33 turbines and begin operations by late 2027. It will be the first Round 3 offshore wind project in Taiwan to start construction.
