Chinese wind turbine manufacturers dominated the global wind OEM rankings last year, securing the top three positions for the first time, according to new data from Wood Mackenzie. Goldwind, Envision, and MingYang claimed the top spots, marking a historic shift as Western OEMs struggled with declining installations outside China, the analytics firm reported.
Goldwind retained its position as the global leader for the third consecutive year, installing 20GW—over 20% more than in 2023.
