Avenir Ascension will become the first bunker vessel to run entirely on bio-LNG throughout 2025, cutting CO2 emissions by over 3,500 tonnes annually. Starting April 1, 2025, Avenir LNG aims to support sustainable maritime fuels and meet rising demand for low-emission bio-LNG. Managing Director Jonathan Quinn highlights the company’s voluntary commitment to emission reduction beyond regulatory requirements.
