Taiwan International Ports Corporation (TIPC) is a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC), governed by a Board of Directors and a Board of Supervisors. TIPC manages the ports of Keelung, Taichung, Kaohsiung, and Hualien, including their facilities and auxiliary ports. Established in 2012 following MOTC’s port administration reform, TIPC assumed operational and management functions from the former Harbor Bureaus, while maritime policy and oversight were transferred to the Maritime and Port Bureau, MOTC.
