Taiwan Fertilizer Company, established on May 1, 1946, was originally a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and was privatized on September 1, 1999. Headquartered in Taipei, the company operates four factories in Keelung, Miaoli, Hualien, and Taichung, producing a wide range of fertilizers and chemical products. Since January 2001, its electronic chemicals plant has supplied high-quality chemicals to domestic LCD and semiconductor manufacturers.
